When purchasing goods or services to international suppliers, you may be paying expenses that are in a currency other than EUR. Don't worry, our system makes it easy to add these expenses and keep track of your spending.

Scanning Documents

If you scan a document, the system will automatically read the amount and apply the correct currency. This makes it even easier to add expenses in different currencies, as you don't have to manually enter the information.

Updating the Currency manually

To add an expense in another currency, simply select the currency from the drop-down list in the amount field. This list contains all the currencies supported, so you can easily find the one you need.

The exchange rate at the date of the document will be automatically applied to the expense.

However, if you need to, you can override this by changing the amount in EUR. Scroll down in the expense form to "Additional information", and input the amount you think fits best. This allows you to accurately reflect the amount you spent in your default currency.

Creating a new expense

When creating a new expense manually, the currency by default will be EUR.

Scroll down to "advanced settings" and select the currency from the list.
