Tap to Pay (TTP) allows you to accept card payments directly on your smartphone, no additional card reader required.
Your phone becomes a payment terminal, enabling customers to simply tap their card or device (such as a smartphone or smartwatch) to complete a payment.
Who is eligible for Tap to Pay?
To use Tap to Pay, you need to meet the following requirements:
Accountable user based in Germany or Belgium
With an Accountable Banking account
Technical requirements
iOS🍏
iPhone XS or newer
iOS 15.4 or later
Android🤖
Android 9.0 or later
A functional NFC sensor
‼️ Important:
If your device does not meet these requirements, the Tap to Pay feature will not be visible in the app.
Who can use Tap to Pay?
Tap to Pay is currently available for selected professions, especially those working directly with customers.
This includes:
Hair and beauty professionals
Paramedical workers
Animal care workers
Coaches
Shop or e-commerce managers
Retailers
Gardeners
Mental health professionals
Craftsmen
Masseurs
