Accountable

Tap to Pay (TTP) allows you to accept card payments directly on your smartphone, no additional card reader required.

Your phone becomes a payment terminal, enabling customers to simply tap their card or device (such as a smartphone or smartwatch) to complete a payment.

To use Tap to Pay, you need to meet the following requirements:

Accountable user based in Germany or Belgium

- Accountable user based in Germany or Belgium
- With an Accountable Banking account

The latest version of the Accountable app installed

- iPhone XS or newer
- iOS 15.4 or later
- The latest version of the Accountable app installed

A working NFC sensor (this is what reads the contactless card or phone)

A recent security update (from the past year)

- Android 13 or newer
- A working NFC sensor (this is what reads the contactless card or phone)
- A recent security update (from the past year)
- The latest version of the Accountable app installed
