🌍 Where can you use your Accountable Banking card?
Your Accountable Banking card is a Mastercard debit card accepted in most countries worldwide. However, due to international compliance requirements, card payments are not available in certain countries. If you try to pay in one of these countries, your transaction will be declined.
Card payments are not available in the following countries:
A – G | Afghanistan, Belarus, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Central African Republic, Cameroon, The Democratic Republic of Congo, Cuba, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau |
H – R | Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Mali, Myanmar, Pakistan, North Korea, Russian Federation |
S – Z | Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syrian Arab Republic, Trinidad and Tobago, Ukraine, Venezuela (Bolivarian Republic), Yemen, Zimbabwe |
If your country isn't listed above, card payments should be supported.
⚠️ Other reasons a card payment may be declined
If your card was declined in a country that doesn't appear on the blocked list above, the reason may be one of the following:
Your account doesn't have enough available funds to cover the transaction.
Your card has reached its spending limit.
You're paying abroad and your card's international payments setting may be turned off. Check your card settings in the Accountable app.
A 3-D Secure (3DS) verification step wasn't completed.
