💡 What can you do with QR codes in Accountable Banking?
With Accountable Banking, you can pay someone by scanning a QR code, or get paid by creating your own. These QR codes only work with Belgian bank apps.
👉 How to scan a QR code to pay
In the app, go to the Bank page.
Select your main account.
Tap the plus button.
Select Scan a QR code.
You can only scan QR codes created by other clients through their Belgian bank app.
ℹ️ QR codes from Payconiq, Bancontact, and POM cannot be scanned. |
👉 How to create a QR code to get paid
In the app, go to the Bank page.
Select your main account.
Tap the plus button.
Select Create a QR code.
Choose the account to receive the payment: your main account or your savings account.
Enter the amount.
Optionally, add a description.
Clients can then scan the QR code using the scan function in their Belgian bank app.
ℹ️ Clients cannot scan this QR code with the Payconiq or Bancontact app. |
