What information is needed to create an invoice in Accountable?
We need your IBAN, your address and VAT number to create the PDF of your invoice. Indeed, without that data, your invoice is not valid, and worse, you cannot be paid.
You can set those up in the 'Personal Details' of the 'Settings' in the main menu.
How does the numeration work?
Invoice numbering is one of the most important parts of your invoices. This is because it ensures that your income is properly documented for tax and accounting purposes. It is also the first field you have to fill in when creating an invoice in our app.
The app makes it incredibly simple. You only have to enter the number manually once, after that the app will automatically continue numbering. A piece of advice: to keep all your invoices clear, you can change the number at the beginning of each year, for example 2021- XXX.
What does my invoice look like?
We generate a PDF with the data from your invoice.
This PDF can be shared to your client via all means available on your mobile phone (i.e. email, WhatsApp, Slack, etc.)

Is my invoice valid for the Belgian tax code?
Yes, it's perfectly valid.
We also do our best to add all relevant mentions, based on your exact status (e.g. VAT exemptions, etc.)
Can I customise the layout?
You can add your logo, your colours and terms & conditions (unless you have the FREE subscription).
