Depending on your account setup and access level, you will automatically be guided through the appropriate verification process. This helps protect your account from unauthorized access.
In this article, you’ll learn how to update your phone number using:
Identity verification
A registered device (e.g. authenticator app)
A registered email address
General steps to start the update
Open the “Update phone number” link from your mobile device.
Enter your old phone number (if requested).
Enter your new phone number.
Enter the verification code sent via SMS to your new phone number.
From there, the system will guide you through one of the following verification methods.
Option 1: Using identity verification
After entering your new phone number:
You will receive a text message with a verification link (this may take a few minutes).
Click the link in the SMS.
Complete the identity verification process.
Confirm your identity using one of the following methods:
The passcode you registered
Your enabled biometrics (Face ID / fingerprint)
The code from your authenticator app
Option 2: Using a registered device (e.g. authenticator app)
Click the update link from your mobile device.
Enter your new phone number.
Enter the SMS verification code sent to your new number.
Confirm your identity using:
Your registered passcode
Your enabled biometrics
The code from your authenticator app
Option 3: Using your registered email address
Click the update link from your mobile device.
Enter your old phone number.
Enter your new phone number.
Enter the SMS verification code sent to your new number.
Enter the verification key sent to your registered email address.
Confirm your identity using:
Your registered passcode
Your enabled biometrics
The code from your authenticator app
Confirmation of your phone number change
Once the verification process is completed:
You will receive an email confirmation about the phone number change.
Please check your inbox (including spam folder).
