When you take out an Accountable subscription via our website, you benefit from a 30-day money-back guarantee. Here's how it works, depending on where you subscribed:
🖥️ On Accountable Web
If you have taken out the subscription through our website, you have 30 days from the date of subscription (or renewal) to request a refund of your subscription, provided you have cancelled it.
How to request your refund on Web:
Simply email our Support team at support@accountable.eu, or reach out in the chat, and we'll take care of the rest.
ℹ️ The guarantee covers the Accountable subscription itself. If you have already filed a tax return through the app, the service has been delivered and a refund is normally no longer possible.
🍏 On App Store
If you subscribed through the App Store, Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions apply. Within 14 days of subscribing: request the refund directly from Apple, which will process it within 14 days.
How to request your refund on App Store:
Go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
Select "I'd like to", then choose "Request a refund".
Choose the reason why you want a refund, then choose "Next".
Choose the app, subscription or other item, then choose Submit. If you've been charged for a subscription that you no longer want, you can also cancel the subscription.
Between 14 and 30 days: reach out via the chat or support@accountable.eu, and we'll take care of your refund.
🤖 On Google Play Store
If you subscribed through Google Play, it also depends on when you make your request:
Within 14 days of subscribing, there are two ways:
1) Contact our Support team at support@accountable.eu, we’ll handle the request with Google.
2) Request it directly via the Play Store website or app:
How to request your refund on Play Store:
Open a browser and go to play.google.com.
Tap Menu → Account → Purchase History.
Choose your order and select Request a refund or Report a problem.
Fill in the form and submit your request.
Google usually replies within 15 minutes, but it may take up to 4 business days.
Between 14 and 30 days: reach out via the chat or support@accountable.eu, and we'll take care of your refund.
⚠️ Please Note: Cancelling your subscription doesn’t end it immediately, it remains active until the renewal date.
Example: if your subscription renews on the 5th of each month and you cancel on the 25th, it will stay active until the 5th of the next month.
FAQ
If I cancel my subscription, do I get a refund ? No. Cancelling a subscription does not automatically result in a refund request. If you cancel your subscription via our website, Play Store or App Store and wish to receive a refund, you must submit a refund request.
Can I get a refund if I don't use or no longer use the Accountable app ? No. Unless you are still within 30 days of subscribing.
Can I get my money back if I delete the Accountable app ? No. Deleting the Accountable application does not result in the termination of the current subscription or a refund request. You must cancel your subscription and request a refund within the specified period.
If I didn't realize that my subscription had been automatically renewed, can I still get a refund? Yes, if you are still within 30 days of the renewal (for subscriptions taken via our website)
I already filed a tax return through the app. Can I still get a refund? Normally no. Once a tax return has been filed through Accountable, the service has been delivered.
Can Accountable refund me if I paid on App Store or Google Play? Yes, the 30-day guarantee also applies. Within the first 14 days, the refund goes through Apple or Google (you submit the request yourself). Between 14 and 30 days, contact us directly and we'll take care of it.
Does Accountable reimburse other costs (VAT registration fees, business counter fees, social contributions…)? No. These administrative costs are part of running your business and are not reimbursed by Accountable. The good news: they are tax-deductible business expenses, and any VAT on them can be recovered through your VAT return. Not to be confused with our Tax Declaration Guarantee, which covers fines caused by an error in a return filed through the app.
